    International Children Assistance Network (ICAN)

    ICAN’s mission is to raise the next generation of caring, strong leaders. Focusing on prevention and early intervention, ICAN aims to raise community awareness and provide education on issues, especially ones considered controversial or taboo within the Asian-American community.

    KGA’s mission is to build a progressive and sustainable Long Beach community that works for racial, gender, and economic justice led by Southeast Asian women and youth.

  • Laotian American National Alliance (LANA)

    In 1999, community leaders with roots from Laos gathered to establish a national organization. Today, as a national community-based non-profit, LANA amplifies the underrepresented voices and empowers the multi-ethnic community through education, visibility, and collaboration.

    SEARAC is a national civil rights organization that builds power with diverse communities from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to create a socially just and equitable society. As representatives of the largest refugee community ever resettled in the United States, SEARAC stands together with other refugee communities, communities of color, and social justice movements in pursuit of social equity.

    TCF’s mission is to promote social health by providing refugee and immigrant families the opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills, and desires for creating health and well-being in their lives.

    VAR envisions a strong and unified Vietnamese American community that works towards improving quality of life. VAR’s mission is to organize, advocate, and educate the community. This is accomplished through mobilization, advocacy, and education – mobilization through events and coalition building, advocacy through empowering and strategy, and education through panels, workshops and cultural events.
